These color schemes are from our Aladdin Homes catalog of 1916. The suggestions in the catalogue do not include a scheme with white for the body. The color might be a little dull by some standards (grey, grey, and grey). But others like the "flesh" color and the orangey "fawn" are not seen much today, and would be bold choices.
The Arts and Crafts colors are all about earth related, muted color that ground the house where it happens to be. So different colors will be appropriate in different climates. Roof shingle color has to be taken into consideration as does any brick or stone detailing on the home.
